After settling in Santa Barbara, Lynda spent a number of years as head aestetitian and trainer at the Skincare Institute that also included training at their Denver facility. She founded Skin Resolutions in 1994, today considered the most exclusive skincare salon in the Santa Barbara area. Lynda’s proud of the conscientious and professional team that she has personally trained and mentored. Lynda attributes her success to a fundamental philosophy that technology has changed more in the past ten years than the past fifty, accounting for numerous breakthroughs in product delivery and depth of skin penetration never before thought possible. “This is the most rewarding and exciting time to be in this business”, she tells her clients and colleagues. Because of this accelerated pace in the industry and her time spent at UCLA’s cosmetic chemistry program, Lynda believes it critical to carry the world’s top products lines only after thoroughly investigating the new product’s ingredients, research, test results and funding. Earlier this year, Lynda was honored to be invited to serve as a member of Innovative Skincare’s Advisory Board. This prestigious role includes testing and reviewing new products and treatments, and later documenting the protocol for treatment utilization. When Lynda is not managing her business and clients, she enjoys her husband of 18 years, Barry Wilkinson, a native of Santa Barbara, and two sons, Brennan (14) and Sammy (10) and dog Coco.
