She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Education and Physiology from the University of Buffalo and her Vocational Nursing license from Santa Barbara City College. She is a licensed massage therapist with 15 years of experience. Fredda is a founding member of the Birth Resource Center, has ten years experience as a labor assistant and childbirth educator and has facilitated prenatal programs through the YMCA Planned Parenthood, St. Francis Hospital and Adult Education. Fredda has worked in the area of birth and new parenting for over 20 years, assisting many families in educating themselves about pregnancy, birth and holistic baby care. Recently she has incorporated consulting into her practice for families with a variety of health concerns. In addition to teaching prenatal classes she is a current contributor to the Omega Program through Adult Education, which includes classes and workshops about aging, classes for older adults and classes specifically designed for the frail elderly. Fredda continues to learn and grow with the individuals and families she assists and cherishes the part she plays in the circle of life.
